Claire studied Law and German at Liverpool University (and at Bremen Universität, Germany), gaining her L.L.B. (Honours) degree in 1996. She gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, Guildford. Claire qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales in 2000. She subsequently practiced as a commercial property solicitor at law firms in the City of London for eight years. Claire’s practice at James Berry & Associates encompasses both commercial and residential property matters. In particular, commercial leases and management work, residential purchases and sales and advising on disputes with developers. At the moment she is representing a number of clients at the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, in connection with disputes that they have with developers.
